Fair History
The Fair began in 1974 to raise funds for the newly organized volunteer
fire department. Prior to that time there were no fire department
services available to far east Cass County, Texas and adjoining
Miller County, Arkansas residents. Both have grown significantly
from its very small beginnings. Cullen Baker Country Fair is staffed
totally by volunteers and it continues to support the Bloomburg Volunteer
Fire Department. Almost $13,000 was raised in 2008 and in 2009.
Thank you for supporting our community.
